ABOUT DAWN

Dawn has always had an interest in the real estate industry.  After years in the customer service industry, she decided to pursue her interest and earned her real estate license in 2004—she hasn’t looked back since.  Her strong attention to detail, exemplary customer service skills, and astute negotiating tactics are key components of Dawn’s skillset.

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Dawn is a local expert on the neighborhoods and communities in western Pennsylvania. Adding to her hometown expertise, Dawn also has personal experience moving out of state which helps her to understand the challenges of relocation.  Whether moving to the ‘Burgh, or transferring to another locale, Dawn is the real estate agent you want in your corner.

When listing a home for sale, Dawn realizes the importance of making a good first impression which requires staging and professional photography.  “Most buyers search for homes online. Excellent photos encourage buyers to view the house in person, that’s why I believe it’s a worthwhile investment.” Proper pricing is another important component that determines success so Dawn conducts a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of the market.  From establishing a customized marketing plan for each home and communicating frequently with the homeowners, to analyzing and taking action on the feedback given by potential buyers, Dawn’s excellent customer service skills come through helping to ensure a smooth transaction.

Dawn has worked on several new construction site teams. Sharing her knowledge of the home building process, Dawn takes the extra time to educate her clients on the various aspects of quality construction and what elements contribute to the value of a home.  Her reward is when her clients apply that knowledge to the homes they are considering.

 

In her spare time, Dawn is a self-proclaimed news junkie as she likes keeping up with current events. She also enjoys trying the local restaurants with her husband Jeff and spending time with her two grown sons. She is a member of St. Kilian’s Church. For each closing, Dawn makes a donation to Children’s Miracle Network. Dawn freely admits she spends too much time doing real estate— “but I can’t help it.  It’s my passion.”
